Quantize end of slip mode when leaving a loop

Hi, here is my situation:

1. load a track
2. activate quantize
3. activate a slip mode
4. start the track
5. crerate some autoloop - at the end of the loop, the waveform gets correctly split as the upper part continues "playing"
6. deactivate the slip mode - the loop turns off and the playhead jumps to where i shoul dhave been without goin ginto the loop

But here is the problem: when leaving the loop by deactivating the slip mode, it is almost impossible to hit the end of the loop where usually a beat is. This makes it quite jerky.......nearly unusable.

My proposal is: when quantize is on and you want to leave a loop by deactivating a slip mode, let the loop play up to the next bar in the grid and the make the jump to the rel-time playhead.

I can confirm the described behaviour.

The described solution is however not trivial, because we will introduce an intermediate state where slip mode is already disabled but the engine is still in slip mode.

I have also some worries if it is correct as a general solutin.

What is you use case musically? Cover anunwanted region with the loop?

yes, for example i create a 8-bar loop and during it play with stems or EQ's to create my own 'buil-up'. after some iterations, i want to jump straight to the 'drop', skipping parts of a track
