What is a daily workflow problem you wish a browser extension would solve? #198746

🏷️ Discussion TypeQuestion BodyHi everyone, I’m gearing up to build a new browser extension, but before writing any code, I want to make sure I’m solving a genuine problem rather than just building another generic tool. My background is in full-stack web development (React, Node.js, MongoDB), so I’m capable of building an extension that connects to a robust backend if needed. My goal is to build something highly practical that saves people time—whether as a solid open-source project or a micro-SaaS. I’d love to hear your thoughts: Whether it is a tool for developers, students, or just general productivity, drop your pain points below. If I end up building your idea, I’ll be sure to share the early access/repo here! Thanks in advance for the ideas! Guidelines

My biggest daily browser workflow issue is tab overload. While coding, I can easily have 20–30 tabs open across documentation, GitHub, tutorials, and debugging resources. I'd love an extension that automatically organizes tabs by project, provides quick search, and shows AI-generated summaries of each tab. This would significantly reduce context switching and improve productivity. |
