[feature suggestion] highlight comments on issue tickets #198753
-
🏷️ Discussion TypeProduct Feedback 💬 Feature/Topic AreaOther BodyI just wanted to make a simple suggestion, and explain it's use case. My idea is to allow ticket masters (lol) to "highlight" a specific comment, which would simply have the effect of changing the colour of the box around the comment, so you can find it easy scrolling through a ticket. Specific Example: How it would be used by myself, talking to myself in issue tickets (lol), would be to highlight my comment to myself about pinouts. I would like to see it easier, scrolling through 100 pages of me talking to myself. There is the ability to pin a comment, but there is no visual distinction so that when you scan the ticket you can find the important stuff easily. In actual collaboration effort, one developer could highlight things for other developer. I think it would be a good idea. |

There actually is a "highlighting feature" just not in the way I thought. Pinning the comment did add a short description below my OP on the issue ticket.
I feel this is satisfactory to my required use case. I no longer need any highlighted comments - however, I leave the conversation open for you to decide if this is acceptable as is, or needs improvements. You may close the ticket if this also works for you :)
Problem solved!
EDIT: A nice border like this marked answer here, might also compliment the existing system, so you can locate the pinned comments easier. Although perhaps this is redundant considering clicking on the…
