Is it possible to use In-Memory mode for faster writes?

I'd like to load the database from the file system into memory, modify the db in memory only, then save it the filesystem only when i want to

sql.js works entirely in memory. It does not interact with any filesystem.

Is there a straightforward way to serialize and store the db in opfs or idb?
