When I cry soft I rarely hear, I see rainbows through my tears, Music keeps me occupied, I don't wanna think about my future And I feel sorry for making you feel worried, Just wanna live my life and not think about my person yah And I'm too scared to come home And what will they think of me A freak a loser a dirty hippy? Is that all I am to them? I wish I could understand Why everybody looks the same But I can't be one of them You know I feel like I'm on my own In a world that's not my own I wish I could understand Who I am Diamonds are raining down on Jupiter I gotta learn to love to love myself

Wake up Can't move Feel stuck In my mood I stay In bed Though I want to Be with them It's just until tomorrow I think that this will pass It's just until tomorrow I hope that this won't last Now I'm Outside Still feel lost In my mind My sick brain Says it's ok It's normal to feel pain It's just until tomorrow I think that this will pass It's just until tomorrow I hope that this won't last I wish I was asleep I wish I was asleep I wish I was asleep I wish I was asleep I wish I was asleep I wish I was asleep

Hit My Line 03:05
I see the way that you're looking at me when you're angry I know you feeling got these feelings that you think that I'm insane If you think that you got to do something pretty crazy Then don't leave me out yah don't leave me out Hit my line baby, I want to know what you're up to, we can Cruze around town check the scene if you want to And keep it hazy, I wanna see if you can do it Maybe, we shall retire till we find the connection So hit my line baby, I want to know what you're up to, we can Cruze around town check the scene if you want to And keep it hazy, I wanna see if you can do it baby Let's get fucked up we don't even have to worry The city screams, from any kids lights We have to go cause this dude is not right So we hop in cab and we start heading north And when we get it there it's a party alright And better yet it's the innocent type So we slip right in and we don't ask questions Just trying to get off on our own projections Just trying to get off on our own projections Just trying to get off on our own projections Just trying to get off on our own projections So we slip right in and we don't ask questions we don't ask questions we don't ask questions we don't ask questions we don't ask questions

Take a hit, hold it in hold it in Till you're feeling slick Let it drench your thoughts bleed blue conscious knots Tied to spiraling moths into Another hit, take another hit, Watch the colors drain and pool As you feel the drool drip from your lip oughta sit back and let your mind trip, trip good, trip fine Just don't let it waste your time. Get good grades, past the test, Take another hit Gods particle is resting in my brain God's particularly angry at me today Take a seat, and breathe, let off some steam Take another hit On a bed overlooking the city You gotta a sort of anxious feeling So you take another hit Take another hit

Camel 05:20
Walls of green sloshing all around me, Fear the sting never let your hand free Rain will come wash away the sickness So I lie to God no one to witness Can we stop pretending He's there food prepared At the window for you to follow Fake the change and crude shame Shoot the rain melt your veins My life has forever changed

about

Escapism - habitual diversion of the mind to purely imaginative activity or entertainment as an escape from reality or routine

Over the past year I have observed many of my friends fall victim to depression/addiction. These songs are inspired by their experiences along with mine. Each song on this EP is a different narrative or exploration into the methods individuals use to escape their existence

1. Diamonds on Jupiter is an expression of my irrational fears and innermost desires to escape my identity
2. Seasons Change is about feeling useless and sleeping to escape reality, only to perpetuate depression
3. Hit My Line is an anecdote about partying and using substances to escape existentialist anxiety
4. Halls of Ma´at is a surrealist tale of losing oneself to gluttony in an attempt to escape consciousness
5. Camel is an intimate tale about a close encounter with death and how it changed my perception of life

This EP is dedicated to Sam and Tallulah,
Come home soon
