Ontario Canada Elementary, secondary but it depends on the school. Some are called high school, mine was called secondary school in the 90s but I think it’s called a high school these days.

Two of my best friends growing up were Scottish and their parents spoke with super thick Scottish accents. Made understanding Trainspotting and reading Irvine Welsh so much easier.

Some of my fondest memories were in my early 20s, their dad would make me a drink and after a few my Irish/English ass would start talking with a Scottish accent. They’d all get a huge kick out of it. To this day even though I grew up with a dad with a heavy Irish accent I still can’t do a proper accent unless I’ve had a few, then I can’t stop it. 😅

Some people may not want to choose to disclose on the first date, depending on the other person’s personality. If there’s nothing there and no second date no harm no foul. If there’s a spark and a wish to take things further I’ve heard (read) many trans people saying they’ll wait until after the date to disclose they’re trans by text to be able to avoid a violent confrontation.

The climate is extremely hostile for trans people right now and people have to worry about their safety.

My father and maternal grand father both got colon cancer around the same time, both got treatment and went into remission.

Both went out of remission around the same time (well, dad came out of remission and grampa got leukemia from radiation therapy) they both died 2 months apart.

Lucky me has a risk of colon cancer from both sides. Yay.
