So do you still use GV? I’m going to flash grapheneos this weekend and make a work profile. Just don’t know how to handle this number.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it wierd for a local county jail not to have a look at a so-called library? I just want to get a look at when they are working with before I donate 1500 books.
21·23 days agoDefinitely not being elitist. It is elitist for OP to assume they need to “educate” individuals in jail because they’re a nurse. I’m a social worker and have worked with people of all backgrounds including incarcerated. I’ve learned something from every person I’ve worked with and I only teach things within my scope of expertise.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I’m thinking I’ll go ahead and move to graphene soon. I’ll leave my google account alone for now so I can access from a browser. I’ll sign up and use Ente for new photos going forward until I can build a nextcloud server. My contacts and calendar are already moved to my proton account.
Hadn’t heard of that. Looks cool thanks
This was my plan until the storage prices went nuts
I’m sure I could figure all that out but looking for something quick and easy to start. Don’t want learning all that delay me leaving Google.
That does look nice and simple but where does it go? Do you use cloud storage or did you build something?
Are they mirrored? On or offline?

51·11 months agoThere is one thing I want from jellyfin. It is to be able to login from their Android app to watch or set something to record without jumping through a bunch of hoops.
I didn’t know that. I was thinking it would work wireless like when I connect headphones the PS5 controller.
Thank you. I’ll have a look at that when I get home
I thought about using pop! How do you like it? My home and work laptops run arch but I wanted something more stable for this.
I can’t not see this now

One of my neighbors owns a restaurant. When covid hit, they dropped boxes of gloves, hand sanitizer, and those rolls of TP off for everyone on the street. I still have one

Was a boost user until I heard about Voyager from another one of these post. Boost is good but Voyager is so much better.

I’ll look into that. Hoping I can just use signal install. I’m already paying for magic earth and a NAS so not trying to make degoogling super expensive.
