I have to take out like 3 parts in my truck to get to the lightbulb to change it. That’s not super approachable. Then don’t even get me started on the electrical systems and what board controls what system. I like working on engines and such, cars are full of so much more now though.

I mean how much do you want to generalize? Practicing now means doing the same thing over and over, ignoring the adjustments you make? Ignoring the fact that someone who never practiced vs a 10 year practiced will sound different, but she did the same thing for 10 years, it should sound the same if nothing changed. Then the next 10 years will sound the same since they perfected it. But they will practice. So practice sometimes means you change but sometimes means you don’t? See how things get complicated when they are overgeneralized.

I teach MMA. I specialize in BJJ. When I’m showing someone a technique, I show them the proper way. They then do the move, and most times they get 90% of it right but have to keep working on that last %10. If they just practice that over and over at %90 it’ll never be good. They need someone there correcting it, until they perfect it. Once you perfect it, you expect the same outcome over and over from the same thing. That is muscle memory.

With that logic, God could have stopped it a few inches sooner, but chose not to.

I don’t think it’s right or ok to insult someone based on who are what they are, at all. But I also don’t let every negative comment about those things impact me. If someone starts attacking my looks in an argument that means I’m winning and I press harder, I don’t get upset about it.

I think the small dick thing, in a sense, is like calling people “gay” when they mean “weird” or whatever. Is it right? Hell no, but I don’t let it bother me if someone calls me gay, I pretend I am and I own it. Take away their power from saying that dumb shit.

People are always going to say fucked up shit, trying to stop that will just give you high blood pressure. I think it’s better to disarm those things and not let it effect you, then the weight behind those words start to fade.
