I see more and more people really stick to bluesky. People who had bigger twitter accounts have been focussing more on BS and deleting or hibernating their twitter. So I see the opposite of what you say.

You have two things to decide: where is the viewer of the painting standing and what’s the elevation? You might draw yourself a sight line on the horizon to mark how high the viewer is standing. Right now, the sight line is pretty low. If you pull the grass higher, the view point shifts higher Second consideration is the elevation. Are we standing on a plain or in front of a hill? Think about perspective

Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL that in 1820 some 20,000 pigs roamed NYC to clean up the streetsEnglish
34·3 months agoYea, because pigs don’t poop where they eat if they have enough space. They will designate a pooping place for their pack(?), which makes it easy to clean
Huh look at that. I guess you tell me why I still use jpeg xD Compatibility? Print?
I’m just old and use PNG only to preserve transparency in images
For me it’s simply routine. If I have pictures that I want in high quality without compression, I have tiff or raw, but jpeg is usually enough to save images without using much space and still having the colour profile embedded.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why are we still allowing Americans to vacation in Canada?
4·4 months agoNo, it’s the other way around. You want them to come over, spend their money in your country, see the good in other places, take some hope with them.
You should boycott going there for visits. Because that hurts their economy and that’s apparently more important than human lives.

I don’t think I should. People can experiment and try. And there’s probably hundreds of tutorials out there. I was just offering for you or any who read this.
Cool that you tried. Watercolour is really fun! I hope you enjoyed it. If you would like a few inspirations or pointers for watercolour, let me know. I’ve been doing a lot of it at work and have learnt how to get really satisfying results and experiences
I invested a lot less. Go ahead. Long-term investment usually pay off if you don’t need the money

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is there or has there ever been information illegal to possess or have?
8·7 months agoSo much. I mean that’s what the book burning was all about. There’s blacklisted authors. There’s state secrets. It might be information that’s legal only for certain people. I mean, if we’re being pedantic, it’s illegal for you to have information about me if I’m not giving it to you.

6·7 months agoThe court has basically ruled to accept the terms proposed by Google itself. That’s surely the normal thing to do and doesn’t sound like corruption in the least.
I think that always happens. The court usually also gives the murder suspect the sentence that they want.

He, don’t call it theft. AI is just collecting data. Just like someone in a library would. It’s actually art. No it’s actually an artist itself. (/S) TechBros get fuckd
