This conversation is a waste of time no matter how much of a nazi Elon is.
This is what the sky would be like in the majority of science fiction. If you want space exploration, there will be space infrastructure, and as time goes on that infrastructure will increase both in amount and size, not to mention the traffic to and from.
It is like complaining about the clutter of the marina while wanting to explore the ocean.

If the US had any foresight they would maybe out solar panels up. They’re like, pretty close to the equator.

I mean this isn’t that big of an aerial doctrine change. There is no change required at all. Don’t get cocky and fly too low or too slow over hostile enemy territory. This applies to all planes. Always has and always will.
But our armed forces are under Trump and Hegseth.

I thought we were defederating lemmy.ml?

Ambulances and fire engines are probably an example of a top choices to convert to ev. They don’t drive far at all and they are parked at a central location most of the time.
Also puts incentives to install solar panels at hospitals and fire stations.

Trump is not going to help Ukraine.

I get paid in downvotes from people who can’t think. I get paid in replies empty of any rebuttal.

Your routine was ambitious but I think you stuck the landing. 10/10.

America being bad doesn’t make your logic good.

What would you rate the somersault though?

An unarmed what? What kind of ship was it? Headed to where? To be armed to with what? To do what?
The war is not justifiable. But given the context that frigate was done the moment it sailed.

Lot of gymnastics here. This is pretty simple: do not move your unarmed warship through international waters so you can arm it and join an active conflict while your aggressor is literally right next to you.
The Iranian admiral who ordered this ship to sail is an idiot and this ship was fair game.

The furthest node I can reliably hit on Meshtastic is about 60 miles from me. Sporadically there’s a node I see 110 miles away.
With Meshcore I can sporadically hit something 300 miles away, but locally isn’t reliable because the density isn’t as good in my area. Too many dead spots.
Ultimately I’m going to use both, but I’m not putting up any meshcore infrastructure because it’s not FOSS and Meshtastic has more inertia here.
Buy two devices and flash both. See what your locals are doing.

I’ve tried both side by side, ultimately you can tune out Meshtastic to cover a metro area pretty well. Mesh core is better at linking regions together, but ultimately it’s not fully open source. Like you gotta buy some firmwares.
My local area, and many others have active contributors to Meshtastic apps and firmware, I feel more comfort in that than reaching people in the next state over.

Used Prusa.
Once upon a time I felt guilty and didn’t apply to a government assistance within the required window.
I almost lost everything.
Always apply and take everything they will give you.

The other thing that keeps Apple in business is tech companies not wanting to fuck around with windows or Linux laptops. Linux systems run the world and MacOS is just plain better when it comes to interacting with those systems while also serving as a good user-facing operating system.
And before anyone says WSL, I was forced to use WSL for an engagement and anyone who tells you it’s viable is a lying or a Stockholm syndrome sufferer.
Orbital data enters aren’t happening. A million starlinks aren’t happening. And musk will eventually die. I’m only defending a reasonable size of constellation.
