Nope, you are making that up, I never suggested that. I simply recognized the pattern: that dude is a nobody that did a rage-bait to get his 15 minutes of fame. And people like you are just helping, nobody is going to kill that idiot for this thing.

it’s easy to solve the problem: don’t be a piece of shit.

Common right wing pattern:
You need a swap partition the size of your RAM, so if you installed it recently letting the installer do the partitioning you probably have a dynamic swap file and cannot hibernate. You can fix it with parted/gparted, then in fstab you need to add an argument to the line of the swap partition, but I can’t tell you anymore because I switched to Fedora. I found the info on Google anyway, probably the Mint forum.
I curse a lot, and if I fix the thing I’m absolutely positive that it helped. Otherwise I didn’t curse enough.

Fascists never get tired.

Anch’io.

Nothing will get any better as long as railroads and trains are in private hands. Re-nationalisation is the only way.
Is it possible to filter the episodes to download like in antennapod?
It always depends on the context… My current job is 100% on Elasticsearch and I’m not missing transactions at all.
Hey hey hey, let’s start with a PR, we are not savages here aren’t we?

Enjoy the next $8000 iPhone I guess…

Liberal bullshit.

Not true, it always meant “something that threatens the hegemony of the ruling class”. It never changed.

My office “requires” that I use the provided Apple M1 but I don’t give a shit because 1) MacOS is garbage, and 2) I make frontend and backend services that are going to run in containers on the cloud. So I’m using a Mint mini-pc in office and a Mint VM at home. Just use whatever you like.
BTW:
Immutable setups ftw
I don’t like them but if you are willing to work your ass off to make docker and everything else works be my guest. I prefer to keep everything work-related in a VM so I can just save snapshots.
Arch is stable enough though
Too risky for me but whatever.
Type of work affects distro choice more so than DE choice (I do backend webdev, my deliverables are very platform independent, so I didn’t think about this much)
I also do full stack and neither the distro and the DE matters IMHO.
Plenty of XFCE users out there!
I have XFCE on my Mint mini-pc. It’s fine but it looks so poor…

It’s actually a child rapist visiting the brother of another child rapist…
More homes is good
There are ~600,000 unoccupied homes in UK, of which over 248,000 are long-term vacant, meaning empty for 6+ months. Why the ruling class wants more? Are we so delusional to believe that they want to bring down house prices? I think the “professional landlords” and real estate corporations just want more assets, and they will outbid who wants a home to live in and will raise the prices even further.
Poop came before everything.
I think it’s just a rage bait started by that guy only, but if the argument wasn’t so extremely niche it would get some momentum, like that dumb video about the Somali childcare of a month ago. Someone prominent on the right would retweet the guy crying that “the violent left are trying to kill meee!”. But I think the story will just fade away, in here and Reddit.
