This is the answer. A fed baby is the goal. My wife exclusively pumps, and we supplement with formula when she gets sick or something comes up. The biggest reason I can give you to breastfeed instead of formula is that formula stinks. If you don’t clean a formula bottle up in time it reeks. A half empty bottle of breast milk can sit out a whole day and doesn’t smell much worse.

This is what I use to do before I quit caffeine. Way easier than making coffee in the morning or drinking soda.
