That does definitely replicate the feature of AirDrop more closely. Do you have any experience with it? Does it work reliably?
A thing to look out for is Wifi Aware, which would enable the functionality if implemented. That is what was recently also used by google to enable android<->ios Airdrop

As one other already mentioned, i would think about getting your own domain and using it with e.g. mailbox.org. That way you become less dependent on the provider, if you wanted to switch in the future.

[…] introduces OCR capabilities to the Spectacle screenshot tool
That‘s such a useful feature, glad its implemented.

Just so you know, the extend of the symptoms you are describing is not what you would expect from slightly elevated BP (definitions differ e.g. ESC)

Does anyone know more about balkaninsights.com (journalistic source thats referenced a lot). What kind of reputation do they have?

It never gets voted on. As soon as they realize that they won’t pass it, they pull back the proposal, so they can try another time.

For future reference: if you are unsure about the app on the store, you can always go to the official website and get a link to the right app on the store that way. https://element.io/download

Do the references work for anyone? For me they lead to completely unrelated studies with no connection to caffeine.

Has anyone got this working on bazzite by chance? Any additional steps necessary? Winapps didn’t work for me, so looking for an alternative

Has anyone tried this on bazzite? Mind sharing if it works? Are there any steps necessary to make it work?
Very interesting project, especially the immich integration! Thank you.

Two cohort studies and 16 case-control studies on this topic were identified […] The cohort study was of limited value due to methodological shortcomings in the study.
Thats basically no evidence at all. Case control studies are mostly used to see if there might be some correlation and from that to form a hypothesis for further research.

Yep, the problems that require more than the steam flatpak can deliver would of course still be there. But you wouldn’t suddenly be on a depreciated distro without a path forward. Thats what I meant by not totally screwed.

Highlights
- sufficiently durable batteries which can withstand at least 800 charge and discharge cycles while retaining at least 80% of their initial capacity
- rules on disassembly and repair, including obligations for producers to make critical spare parts available within 5-10 working days, and for 7 years after the end of sales of the product model on the EU market
- availability of operating system upgrades for longer periods (at least 5 years from the date of the end of placement on the market of the last unit of a product model)
- non-discriminatory access for professional repairers to any software or firmware needed for the replacement
It applies from 20 June 2025.
Honestly that sounds more like a hardware issue than software

Oh come on, just accept that the wording of the headline is wrong and misleading.
If a Country is named in the headline like this, it is always implied to be the state/government. No other interpretation makes sense, the society is surely not using ai to censor.
Even if we consider that not to be the case, just for the sake of the argument, you still can not say “a few people at this project” = “Germany (Society)”. I heavily caution you to not go down the generalization route of “a select group” = “german society”. You ought to think about what that assertion would mean in the context of hamas and palastinians.
Also TU is a public university, so it’s still an emanation of the state, state-funded and state-controlled.
While universities get funding from the state, they are mostly free to research what they choose. On the projects website is also no sign of direct funding by the state. You are free to criticize the research, but what you are implying is that the state should censor the direction of research because you don‘t like it, which is quite ironic.
I can‘t speak for btrfs, but with zfs you usually are advised to send the snapshots off to another location too. That usecase is highly supported.
