2·9 months agoI wanted to like this thing so bad. I tried it so many times I just cannot get used to the trackpad for anything beyond top down environment or platformers. Once I need a second joystick as an input it was game over.

31·10 months agoAlright kid, do you know what isn’t a social construct? Foot fungus. You know what prevents foot fungus, and fungus that literally eats your skin and enlarges your toenails 3 times their normal height from the bed of your nail and is incredibly hard to treat and cure? The social construct of dry socks.
At this point you Google pictures of athlete’s feet, toenail fungus, and open the yeast you bought yesterday and make them smell it.
How about the mango mahi mahi smoothie I enjoyed instead.
The fittings on that valve are reverse thread. Lefty tighty righty loosy.

41·1 year agoI’ve been here a year and still don’t get it. Do i have to make a new account to comment or post on .today? If so, that’s probably not happening. Why’s it have to be so segmented so long as something isn’t blocked.
there’s already zero expectation of privacy at work so i don’t mind using it there. have fun reading a history of allen bradley manuals from 1987 to 2024 lol
shout out to zscaler for being a heap of spying shit and constantly interrupting my network connections, and lookout for work having access to every permission imaginable.

Bless his heart but we had a new guy setting his dock station up a couple years ago now, he tried daisy chaining his monitors display input together to make a dual display set up. We were small talking about our PC setup a little bit before this interaction. This was my moment of “what happened?”
woodenskewer@lemmy.worldtoMicroblog Memes@lemmy.world•The habits of successful peopleEnglish
12·1 year agoI was just at a depressing job fair trying to recruit for maintenance. It was held at a plant set to close in 3 days. Most of the people I talked to were there for 30 years. It was partially employee owned. Somehow a person in power (I don’t know the piece of shit’s title) convinced the employees to sell their share at the promise of expansion and investment.
The person in power closed the shop, cashed out, and retired. Will not have to worry about a thing. 200 some people and families now have their lives upended at the benefit to few.
This kind of aligns more with the person you responded to but still relevant.

Just finished the main quest last night. My head is still spinning. Best story driven game I’ve played in some time if not all time for me. They really did a great job everywhere.
