aanjel's sixth harvest comes from Brazilian DJ and producer GUZA, whose club-focused productions blur the lines between techno, breakbeats, baile funk, and Latin club music. Rooted in São Paulo's ever-evolving electronic scene, GUZA has become known for weaving together nostalgic textures, raw digital sound design, and rhythm-forward storytelling into a sound that is unmistakably his own.
Amor Fati was created during a period of personal change, embracing uncertainty and the quiet beauty of accepting life as it unfolds. Named after the Latin phrase for "love of fate," the EP reflects a shift from chasing outcomes to trusting whatever comes next. Built around FM synthesis, 909 grooves, glitchy breaks, tribal percussion, Brazilian funk rhythms, and warm melodic samples, the record dissolves genre boundaries while remaining deeply dancefloor-driven. Vintage influences collide with crisp digital textures, creating a dense yet comforting atmosphere where introspection and movement coexist naturally.
One of the EP's defining moments came while collaborating with Djeizza in Bogotá, while the invitation from the label mommies arrived as an unexpected spark that reignited GUZA's creativity during a difficult chapter.
With Amor Fati, GUZA brings another shade to the aanjel universe - one where acceptance becomes momentum, curiosity fuels every rhythm, and every breakbeat hints at the next plot twist.
