McMaster-Carr would be my first choice (most people are just more comfortable with Amazon, though I agree with you about supporting them).
You’d need to determine the dimensions but you have the tool for that!

I am far more worried about whatever the administration is planning on as far as the DHS is concerned. The PATRIOT act has granted them extraordinary powers in relation to fighting ‘terrorism’ without bothering to strictly define what ‘terrorism’ is… this administration has shown a gleeful willingness to apply that label to their political opposition.
At least National Guard members actually live in the communities that they would be asked to attack (however the administration may phrase it).

There’s always someone in the comments making cheesy puns.

I hope I can live without your approval.

Not that it matters at all for my point but, yes, yes and yes.
The person is an idiot, they have no idea of my opinions. Their label wasn’t about my opinions, it was an attempt to provoke a mob response from other low-effort readers.

If you’re looking at a conversation as having a winner and a loser then you’re the latter.

What they mean and how they are commonly used on social media are two different things.
Someone called me a zionist in this thread. It wasn’t based on any kind of reality as I never stated any opinion in any comment here about Israel and my comment history is certainly anti-zionist. They were not saying it because it is definitionally true, because it isn’t.
They called me that because they perceived me as being on a different ‘side’ than them and know that using that term as an insult in a space like this is guaranteed to put them on the right side of the dogpile.
They were not using the term as it is defined, i.e. a supporter of zionism. They were using it as an insult to attack me, i.e. ‘hey this person is bad, get them!’.

If the CEOs Masters of the Universe can’t figure out how to use AI in 3 years then it is impossible and a waste of time, okay.
I’ve been saying that since the 80s, just wait, this Internet thing is doomed to failure as prophesied by the CEO-class of yesteryear.

Even though the Graphene team has weird habits of communication which might be off-putting for some,
I like my secure OS developers to be on the paranoid side of sane.
It’s probably not a stretch to think that there are a lot of people out to compromise that specific team of developers, that’d make me paranoid too.

For privacy/security, there really isn’t another choice: Pixel + GrapheneOS.
I use an old surplus corporate laptop which couldn’t upgrade to Windows 11 and run Plasma Bigscreen and use a wireless touchpad to control it.
It runs everything that can run on Linux, plays every kind of content and uses next to no power when asleep.

I know what they mean.
You should also know that those terms are so overused as insults that they effectively don’t have a definition other than:
Shitlib/Zionist - adj. ‘a person who possibly takes a different position as me, idk I’m too lazy to actually understand them but I want validation from the Internet and these words get me upvotes’
It’s hard to read, but it says “Be sure to drink your Ovaltine”

Everything is a game.
They’ve just turned this one into cat-and-mouse.

Now we just need 3D printers which can print N and P-doped silicon so we can have the first Turing-complete Benchy.
