This is me but with beans or onions, just rips my gi tract up.
If you eat them regularly enough your microbiome will adapt. If you soak beans overnight and add a carrot (I don't know exactly what the carrot does tbh) it helps with the gassy compounds.

(I have never been able to burp so I’m a toot monster and I’m too old to have any shame anymore and there’s no way I’m gonna stop eating beans or tofu)
I think it was probably mock meats that generally use soy isolate that helped me get over the gas I got from tofu.
