·3 days agoThat has been a complaint for me with Thrones since the start. Like its fine to have bad shit happen but you're just a doomer nihilist if you think that is mature way of thinking. Great job doing the job of the oppressors for them

technology•This is the story of planned obsolescence — how the most sophisticated trucks ever built are also the most fragile, the most dependent, and the most disposable. 1985 F-250 vs 2017 F-450.
·3 days agoWhen i was growing up my mom had this tiny Nissan truck. That thing survived a lot. I would learn stick to drive this tiny thing. It looked like a hot wheel going through a enlargement portal or something.
I think she hit 2 deer with that one. It probably could of been fix but of course they didn't.
I have a wet around at the corner of our yard. We probably should some swamp around there.

·4 days agoIt really doesn't do shit outside of local shit like levys or laws. But even then you are probably putting in a lot of effort to keep something going correctly then making anything better.
We had to do this to save our local parks and libraries. Was about a two year affair. And all we accomplished was keeping what we had. Important of course but it shouldn't of been a problem and honestly the fuckers trying to do it should of been given a nastier treatment. Would of saved a lot of time and heartache.
That's great! I've been trying little by little to get our yard going. Thankfully just from now mowing we get a lot of aster and goldenrod in the fall.
I also was lucky and found some milkweed at the mothman festival growing on the side of the road. I took a pod and planted it around the yard. Hoping these come up. Least I know where to get them next time. It certainly got cold enough this year for cold stratification.

Chapotraphouse•Iran's Parliament Speaker MB Ghalibaf says that Americans will soon wish that gas only cost $5 per gallon
·4 days agoI have been banging the drum about a transportation crisis in America. This was before the war. My timing was wrong and it's actually going to be much worse much faster then I thought.
Its the most dangerous on the roads its ever been. I have to drive from one side of the country to Oklahoma about once a year. And I just wish we had fucking trains for that.
Covid brain and now you have trucks who have to drive longer with shorter breaks. It reminds me of when Well There Your Problem was on Work stoppage talking about the derailment epidemic.
There is almost always a wrecked semi on the road anymore. Hell we were just going to the bigger city for some shit and there was a semi literally smoking the road out cause something was on fire. Dude didn't even know. We had to roll our windows down and point to the back of his truck.

·4 days agoBeat me to it. It's honestly disgusting how they used her for patriarchy. Hell all the worst stories are by the same guy.

·4 days agoI got my microphone degree right when COVID hit. Not only could I not get a job ironically, but I got to try and explain to people who wouldn't listen about the ramifications of COVID in the future.

·7 days agoI don't think anyone in WV is actually surprised. WV has been fucked by the government since the start. Most people who trust the goverment at all in WV are considered fools.
Which makes the liberals very annoying here.

·10 days agoOh his book is very good btw for helping people struggling with liberalism and American propaganda.
American Rule it's called. I lent it to this older person who works with our group and I think it was a big eye opener for her. It's circulating around others now.
I did a dive on this a while back. For whatever reason the fortune was kind of this double thing because tanuki would help you if you helped them. But also the depictions looked like sacks so big full sack=wealth. Also. The mythical depictions can fly with them.
However it should be noticed a Tanuki is not the same as a North American raccoon. I believe, if I remeber correctly, they are not in the same family. Just wanted to clarify because I made this mistake once

·16 days agoOkay I know it's not the point. But I kept reading tyranny as...well the T slur and was really fucking confused.
Yay dyslexia.
I love my mother, but when we came out as trans she has gone minimum contact with us. I told her that any door closed is on her end.
It sucks but its the way it is.
My dad can fuck off though. I have no desire to ever patch that up. Fucking fox news jackass. It's bad when at the age of 10 you realize the person on TV could tell your dad to do anything and he'd do it.

Sitting recovering from my surgery. I can already tell it has made a difference.
