  • Need a "Don't blame me I voted for De la Cruz" sticker. Can't say I wouldn't vote for a woman or a non-white person. Had better policy. Had better experience. Got people to literally write in her name because the demonrats removed her to supress turnout. I even voted downballot (D) for you liberals.

She was electable if you voted for her. We wouldn't be in this mess if you just had a spine.

  • Lol checked reddit-logo and they're like "uhm actually, it only overturns talk therapy. So actually this is a win for liberalism."

Liberals' obsession with "free speech" so long as it literally isn't illegal-to-say or anything positive of communism is the funniest shit, if it didn't result in the worst things. It IS legal to tell gay kids they're going to hell and that they would be stoned to death in a biblical world. It is NOT legal to say to any elected official the same. This is a very wise and beautiful world view.

  • Not sure about death looking berserk, but I swear I remember some of the historical depictions of famine being either gaunt or skeletal. Because, you know, starving. Doesn't fit with the (slightly more) modern "Death is a skeleton in black robes" thing.

Its still weird, because Death being a skeleton is most common. Also Famine isn't the last horseman (its Death funnily), so having him say "and up next, our new guy" makes even less sense. Feels borderline like the author drew them left to right in order of how they remembered their names. But then just jumbled Death and Famine up?

Not to mention (as others pointed out) the horse colors are wrong. Should be pale > white > red/brown (correct) > black. Also #2 (here) being labeled Pestilence is debated, which I didn't know/forgot. Probably should be Conquest but it isn't clear. Fine for pop culture but just further evidence of laziness.

2/10, a poor attempt at reference to previous work. Points for trying to say something.

(Unrelated to the above: I know 99.9% of political cartoons are lazy, but c'mon. Easily could be improved by having one of them saying "The new guy is doing a great job" while a bright red horse labeled maga prances off.)

  • I got a switch lite and played a decent bit of 'new' animal crossing. But that was basically it. All the other games were either shitty nintendo games or rereleases of PC games.

It rapidly became a picross machine for me. Now my steam deck occupies that position with squeakcross (cute rodent themed picross). I can't imagine any adult buying a Switch 1/2 over a deck tbh. It might cost more/the same, but like... you're not tied to nintendo's shitty system. And it feels too expensive for kids. They really need a DS/3DS replacement. Something cheaper and more portable.

  • Some mostly positives (and even a couple mixed/negatives I can't recall right now) are actually good.

Usually they're more niche that attracted a wider audience (COD bro isn't going to like Workers and Resources; and thats ok) or something more artsy. Or it attracted freeze-gamer rage.

On the other hand, there's a few very/overwhelming positives that should be negative. Hogfarts was/is. Factorio's devs went on a weirdo screed and it stayed positive (me, a cishet, got called anti-trans slurs during that one lol). And lots of the porn slop is rated high.

Backloggd seems to reflect reality a bit better for gaming scores. Probably won't if it ever hits mainstream and people stop using the "3 is actually a fine score to give, not everything needs a 5 or a 1 star" method.

I always hear new yorker's saying they got the biggest rats.

Buddy, I lived in Florida. I drove by power poles with a ceratin rodent's shape sculpted into it. Entire families worship this fierce mammal just to appease it. It controls near all central Florida. Your mice are nothing compared to Mr. Mouse.

When the revolution comes, we gotta hire every pest control specialist left to build a comically large mouse trap.

"Traditionally" you built war machines knowing some of them are going to explode for one reason or another. You hope to get more utility out of it then if you could have gotten out of another system, ideally by complimenting your other systems. Losing 1 carrier is bad, but if it lets you sink 2-5 of Japan's carriers, its "worth it".

The problem is that modern (post cold war and back in the 1870-1930 period as well) military makes systems that aren't practical for the engagements they're in. Part of it is changing tech (dreadnaughts seemed like the big thing until cheap aircraft sank a few in WWI). Part of it is fitting your military for the conflicts you're in/expect to be in (late colonial Britian/France was used to fighting "lesser" foes not industrialized nations).

A lot of American systems are built for 10 billion billion dollars because they're assuming that they're going to be up against the Soviets/China/some European system. They "have" to be that expensive otherwise you're going to lose. The problem is, if your opponent gets lucky, or your system fails, or your opponent finds any flaw or builds a system that "just works", then you can spend 1000x more and still lose. Vietnam etal. almost taught us Yanks that you need some systems that aren't going to sink your budget if you lose them, but we're too dumb/proud to not spend the most on everything. (Also its a racket, etc, etc.)

So you end up spending a billion on a system designed to work in a different scenario, sold to you that its "actually more then you need, but then it'll work now and forever so you really are saving", and then gets destroyed because of course it does, you're fighting a war you (royal you, not you you) nerd.

TLDR: America falls into the pitfall all/most large organizations do. Assuming there is no point in smaller systems because you're too big to care about the little parts.

who tf cares if xi knows if you drove to kfc

what is he going to do, post about it on twitter? send his kentucky fried warriors to beat you to death? train an "ai" version of you to eat chicken just like you?

if you actually cared about telemetry this much, you would be fedposting about all the stuff going to america shitheads doing exactly the same that actually could mess with you with it. But these freaks never peep about it, only about the evil chinese
