What’s a pancake lens
Kind of a catch-all term for a flat prime lens, usually used for some kind of effect.
This one’s an old recycled pocket disposable camera lens someone 3d printed and mounted, so all the shots look like this. There’s no focus ring, hence the blue and retro lo-fi quality.
In the Pentax world, it’s a 43 mm known for its bokeh. The name is because it’s very thin.
The lack of depth of field is breaking my brain!
Shooting with it is bonkers lol. There’s no focus ring so all you can control is the shutter speed. Everything just looks ethereal and weird. Fun to play with though.
