Hundreds front up to a conference is not a lot given Demented Donny has been super aggressive in his climate wrecking. It’s really what is the next administration going to do that’s important now as this one is pretty clearly bad.

Hasn’t the US failed NATO by engaging in a war of aggression without consultation and then demanding NATO members to help?

I’ve read that the polls dropped a bit after the rally. A great help. There is a problem using a divisive character in election campaigns. They play well to the rusted on but not necessarily to the swingers who can see the baggage.

Demented Donny is still loosing it because his name keeps showing up in the Epstein Files.

TACO was bluffing and Iran called his bluff? Sounds reasonable. Effectively Iran won.

Many people are inherently lazy so it stands to reason that given an easy out they will take it. Only a fool trusts critical advice without checking it. It appears that there are a lot of fools out there.

Actually it’s the 2nd of April. Oddly enough the cost of memory, gpus and cpus has increased sharply due to the demand and futures pseudo demand for them.

So he is effectively JD Vance nee Bowman.

It’s weird, Demented Donny has taken a pariah nation that most people really would like regime change to occur in and created an underdog that people are rooting for. I wonder how much longer the people in the US are able to put up with it before he is replaced?

I was surprised to hear this from people I knew in the US. Some were right in with the gun culture and others were definitely not and didn’t own guns. Like all stats, you have to look at the details rather than the averages.

I’ve noticed in Australia that when we have a conservative climate denying government people’s opinions shift in that direction. When we have a more balanced government the opinion shifts to being active on climate issues. Media has a lot to do with it however, leadership seems to be a big factor. It’s obvious that the government’s messaging is important. Trump’s relentless banging on about climate hoax etc will sway people who are not well grounded in the issues.

“Last summer for the first time in the history of warfare Russian soldiers even surrendered to an armed ground robot.”

And then Trump closes the Straight of Hormuz and ev sales increase. The question is whether Tesla gets a boost.

I had never even considered this to be a problem so when I read the article it just didn’t compute. Ta

Hmmm? Battery equipped stoves? I’ve had an induction stove for 12 years and there is no battery. What’s the story?

My argument is still that the investment in nuclear is fairly long and all through that renewable generation is eating up the margin that a reactor needs to make money. Investors see that as uncertainty and won’t invest. That appears to be the main reason why there not a lot of interest.

This algorithmic driven ad system sucks. If I want something I look for it. That they think I have a mush brain that needs to be forced fed with nonsense and other undesirable rubbish is infuriating. Hence I have a strong desire to avoid it all.

I’m not arguing the value of nuclear power it is really that the pointy heads can’t see that it is competitive with renewables. Personally I think that as renewables get to saturation then we will work out where we need continuous power generation. The trouble with nuclear is that 10-30 year lead time is difficult to commit to such an uncertain future.
A man who can’t read, works in sound bites and can’t concentrate really is the man of the moment and perfect for controlling a nuclear arsenal.
