Everything about papa johns is terrible. I remember when they were supposed to give their employees health insurance but instead they cut everyone’s hours so they didn’t have to because it would have cost them the equivalent of 1 millions pizzas then they ran a promo giving away 2 million pizzas. They were the first chain to charge a delivery fee but not give it to the drivers. The founder was basically a klan member and such a shitty person. Only thing I like about them was the garlic butter dipping sauce they gave.

I’m confused are you saying that negative voltage is more deadly than negative voltage? Just because electrons flow from negative to positive doesn’t mean it’s any more dangerous what moves the electrons is the voltage potential. If you were able to have electrons flow from a source through you to the ground your just as able to have electrons flow from the ground through you to a positive voltage source.

One other thing is if the farm adds some batteries they can sell the electricity at peak times for 20-30c/kwh.

In 2025 China installed over 500GW of solar power. That is an insane amount it’s over 1.3 gigawatts a day or a large power plant per day. Sodium batteries have gone into production and gonna be sold at like 50$/kwh. These price points and scales are where it’s cheaper to build 2 times your power needed in solar and have like a week of battery backup so you can power everything off solar and wind. Right now it’s 60/40 fossil fuels/low carbon sources for electricity production, 2026 will be the year it flips to 49/51 in actuality, it might take a year or two before analysts actually realize it has happened.

Maybe a 24 hr print on an ender 3 if printed in multiple pieces. The multicolors are mostly leveled so minimal filament swapping or could be separate pieces glued together. This thing is the size of 1.5 soda cans worst case it’s a 10 hour print with 8$ in filament. I would charge 50$ if someone wanted me to make this custom for them but not if I’m selling on marketplace.

I always thought it was to help prevent it exploding if dropped. I’ve dropped a gallon a couple times and the dimple pops out and the lid stays on. Kinda like an air bag.

This isn’t necessarily true they could use the brayton cycle at the higher temps a fusion reactor operates at. So instead of making steam it would just be hot air. This is more efficient but might not be used or whatever reason.

I haven’t used the flashforge but my brother who never did any 3d printing before got it and loves it. He says it just works. I just got the elagoo centauri carbon for 300 and it’s so great but might be out of your price range. If your just printing with pla flashforge is probably the way to go. I never liked bedslingers since tall prints tend to tip over or delaminate and I keep my printers in my garage where temperatures can swim and change the prints drastically.

All these cheap chains jacked up their prices and saw temporary profits but then customers realize it’s not a good deal and stop going. Late stage capitalism really sucks.

I think launching satellites is a terrible idea but I do think Geo engineering is a necessity. We are on a good trajectory to phase out most fossil fuels simply because the economics make more sense. If we can do something to avoid the worst of climate change we need to do it because the fossil fuel industry is not going to give up massive profits to save the planet unfortunately. Even if there are side effects theres no way it’s worse than letting climate change happen.

Just like the hyper loop Elon taking a well known idea and people giving him credit for inventing it. Launching satellites to do this is a terrible idea.
