I was just introduced to NetBox and it’s really intriguing. It does look complicated but once it is setup it seems to work very well at integrating data from a spreadsheet into it and then automatically documenting changes and such. It’s open source as well.

I often print 3 walls and 10% infill and the prints are plenty strong. These are not high stress objects, but they can take plenty of stress without breaking.
I did print some curtain rod holders for some outdoor curtains. They had 3 walls and I think 25% infill. They do get a lot stress from the wind blowing, but they have held up very well in the 3 months they have been up.

Agreed. If I am making it building something then I prefer metric. If I am thinking about how tall something is or how long it is I think in standard. I just feel that one foot is a good size to measure something rather than meters or centimeters. It’s much easier for me to imagine a 6 foot tall object than a 1.83 meters or 183 centimeters. It’s just easier to break something up into 6 parts than it is to break something into 1.83 parts or 183 parts.
I know you could use a unit that equals 25 centimeters and that would be similar to a foot, but no one uses that for some reason.

I think “dumb/lazy” isn’t the correct terminology to describe them. I think the more correct term would be ambiguous. It seems to me that most people aren’t as concerned about the true meaning of a word, they’re more concerned with the big picture. So to them using a word that isn’t exactly correct is not a big deal as long as they can get the big picture across.
I think for them it is more about efficiency than it is about choosing the correct words.

Adam Savage makes several videos about props being put up for auction. He even did a video on this rhino.

As employers we are not allowed to pry into personal health issues.

Yeah wkrn bent the knee a long time ago.

Damn Blackhawks fan…

I’ll give it a shot. This is what I got from it.
Ok so this study basically discovered that atoms arranged in certain patterns will affect the orbit of electrons when the atoms vibrate. We can detect those vibrations and determine the electron’s orbit. We can manipulate materials to cause them to have this effect as well.
So we can basically use this to store and retrieve information much like we do with bits on a computer. We are using the angular momentum of atoms like bits in a computer.
Pro-tip: To see this for the Southern hemisphere just download the picture, open it, and click Rotate 90° twice.

I tried following this and it didn’t work. Searched “no image produced” and got no results.
Searched “no image” and got results, but they are all pdf files that I can view.

I will NOT let that sink in.
I have no idea what that thing has gotten into.
Oh ok, thanks for the explanation. I did not associate the other random people as being telepathic and in the club.
I would have had all the telepathic people doing something like, have their hand on their chins as if they were thinking. That would be a visual trigger that allows me to link all of the characters together.
Obviously some people got it without an explanation, so perhaps it’s just me who has an issue understanding this. 🙂

The swift swift swiftly swifted in the swiftest way possible.

If you have curly hair you would be best served finding a stylist who knows how to properly cut curly hair.

What the L-R-D’s?

First things first, have fun! Play along with songs and just have a good time playing. That will help you to keep playing.
Secondly, learn some basic stick rudiments like parradiddles and such. Start VERY slowly and be patient with the speed. You’re working on building up muscle memory.
I also suggest using Drumeo for training lessons as well, if you spending money that is. They have all kinds of lessons available from beginners to advanced players. And the cost isn’t too much for what you get. Though I would suggest waiting for a sale price if you can.
There are plenty of free lessons you can find on YouTube as well. They’re just usually not as organized as you would find on something like Drumeo. But there are some really great lessons to be found. Rob Brown is one I always suggest. He has good, clear lessons and provides a lot of great details. I specifically suggest his video on how to pay the kick pedal and how to pay doubles on the kick. That really helped me.
Have fun, try to stick to a loose schedule, and keep playing! You’ll be surprised at how much you improve if you just stick with it!
