Very cool vibe, I think hand designing parts of the level will work well.
I like the concept of checking where you need to go then shooting in the opposite direction, but it was quite tricky in third person as the camera would often be obstructed.

I think grace bullets would be a good idea, if you've fallen a long time without shooting, you get an extra bullet.

Cool idea, I like the gun mechanic, the soundscape was really good too. While I'm not a big fan of these types of games I feel like the gun could have been a bit more of an ability you had to help negotiate the obstacles rather than the main thing. The random obstacles also become hard to plan around but still good job and good luck with the Jam :)

lol took me a bit to get the game - Neat supper hard - Just small thing - in the setting menu I could not see much as the background was white and the text was white - Godd job

The skulls seem a bit too big as an obstacle... When you collide with them they are invisible. The levels might flow a bit better without them (or with them a lot smaller).

The reload sound effect startled me at first!

It's kind of beautiful. The air whooshing sounds feel strangely relaxing. Getting to the top was difficult, a lot of hoping and praying.
