DAS VILLAIN For nearly 30 years, I've loved Jamie Myerson's take on drum 'n bass. Instead of the prototypically erratic sound of DNB (which I live, btw), Jamie takes a more subdued, atmospheric approach. It all started with 1998's The Listen Project and continues with the latest release with sublime keyboards, surrealist beats, and crisp productions. This is total escapism set to music. Favorite track: Geoglyph.

mustardfingers Bit of a diversion from Jamie into house territory, but he absolutely nails it! First track a beautiful slice of deep jazzy house. 2nd an uptempo fat house track with a lovely boogie bass line. 3rd is chugging progressive number and the 4th is similar style with some nice acid lines running through…
Favorite track: Isostasy.
