Murmurs of the Mist

Murmurs of the Mist is a short psychological horror story where you play as Bunni, the stuffed toy of a 7-year-old girl, Sofia. She struggles to speak about what happened to her but in therapy, Sofia speaks through you, the only one she trusts. 

As Bunni, you explore the mysterious landscape of Sofia’s psyche, where her innocence, fear and childish state of mind blur together. What you see, hear, and touch slowly reveals the dreadful truth.

This 20–30 minute experience invites you into a quiet descent through memory, trauma, and the first steps of healing. A short unraveling of a story that is waiting to be heard.

In this game, you’ll encounter puzzles which require you to use your environment in order to solve them. Take note of every detail, they can help you in uncovering Sofia’s story.

Murmurs of the Mist was created as a school project by ten students at Södertörn University in Stockholm, Sweden. This school project later turned into our passion project as we continued development into the summer.
