IdleGambler
The house always wins - but what if the house was a dusty old PC on your desk?
IdleGambler is an incremental, gambling clicker game set in a pixel-art fake OS that lets you explore how your grandpa made his fortune.
You start by manually “working” to earn your first coins, which you then multiply or lose in the gambling mechanics. You’ll find everything from a basic coin flip to a slot machine with unlockable skills - master each one, then automate it.
While you progress through the mysteries of this money-printing operating system, you fight your rivals and show them who is the betting boss. To tip the odds even further, you buy and improve cards to create synergies that push your cash flow into numbers you can’t even pronounce.
Every currency in IdleGambler is fictional - no real money will ever be part of the game!

Very fun game. Beat the demo but after the first card shop it never restocked it was just frozen saying I was at 475k out of 500k
Thanks for playing! And even bigger thanks for the bug report. I'll try to get to the bottom of that :)
i cant seem to get the game to load up and run...
Very sorry to hear! Can you let me know where the game gets stuck? Sometimes changing the browser helps with games on itch in my experience ^^
I fully upgraded my auto flipper so i could set it to 100k and I had 2.3 million monies and then i turned it on and went to take a piss and when i came back i had no money, so i stopped playing, 5/10
At least you got the important lesson: gambling is always risky!
Thanks for playing anyways and sorry the numbers were not on your side!
The Left Mod card doesn't seem to work with Extra Agent Capacity. I couldn't get the number higher on the actual bet, even if the card value on the card increases. So I just did what the other guy also found out. Tick Rate + Left + Left. Though like with most clicker games, an auto-clicker trivialises this, even if that function is already built in with the 'W' key. It still works on the Flip button while it's auto-flipping. Even at the ridiculous speed you get with the above combo.
I'll Check that out thanks for reporting!
An autoclicker definetely makes playing the game a bit meaningless, but if people want to do that who am I to stop them :) I feel like if people spend their free time on a game they should do so however they please.
Could you elaborate on what you mean by 'it still works on the flip button while its autoflipping' ? Not sure if I got whats the problem there.
Thanks for playing and taking the time to leave a comment <3
It's not really a problem that needs solving if you don't mind it's there.
Auto-clickers really just solve either wrist health problems, or makes waiting times faster. I mean, we're not really talking about much more gameplay than waiting for numbers to go up. I don't usually use them unless I get bored or if I want see if it breaks the game.
Nicely said - totally agreed ^^
Great, now I am addicted to gambling. Please add skins and micro transactions for the full package.
Jk (unless), great fun to play, insta wishlist on Steam :)
Good Thing that idlegambler will only ever have fictional currency. Stoked you enjoyed it!
why do you hate people who play your game so much?
What makes you think that? I'm super happy that people are checking out what I made. Hope you'll let me know what is bothering you <3
If you get the flip rate extremely high you can no longer see your money value.
Good to know ! I'll fix that with the next Update
Fun game beat the demo.
Would be cool if the card shop had slot cards but would no be needed and.
What looks funny is when i had coin flip tick reducer and 2 left card times x% (at max it was -21 ticks)
-3/200%/200%
What game showed:
-21 / 600% / 200%
Thank you so much for playing! Out of curiosity: how long did it take you, approx. to beat the demo?
And great job on finding one of the broken card setups! (most of them involve 2 times the left mod card) I think the displayed values are correct since the rightmost card adds 200% value to the middle one ( getting it from its own 200% -> 600%) and then adding 600% of the -3 ticks (-18), adding up to the shown 21 ticks.
I didn't really look at the time but I think it was about an hour
Fair enough :) thanks for the estimation!
The second rival, is she purposely meant to be exponentially harder than the first? To the point where you literally don't even show up on the progress bar, despite a good amount of upgrades applied prior to attempting?
Phillipa is a big step up in difficulty - but it sounds like the explanation for how to beat her was not made clear enough from my side.
Each rival has a specific restriction how to beat them and she will only accept if you manually flip coins and win Money through that.
Thanks for playing and I hope you give it another shot to show the rivals who's the gambling-goat
So stupid, I had to wishlist it on steam :D
Exactly the vibe I was going for :))
It doesn't have autosave. I've played for like 40 minutes, it crashed and I lost everything.
Sorry to hear that! Any more Insight into whatv happened before crashing would be appreciated. Saving will be added in a proper Windows release but was not a priority for this web demo.
Hope you enjoyed the 40 minutes anyways <3
I was fighting the second NPC, and I got like aJavascript error popup, and then the game froze. So I refreshed the page and my progress was gone :-(
That is odd. Thank you so much for providing the details! I'll try to reproduce and fix the issue. Refreshing will unfortunately restart the Unity Player...
Insta Wishlisted, so beautiful and a good incremental hopping for 1.0 :)
I pesonally would get deeper in the part of cards as a way of progresión could be cool
Goodluck with the release.
Happy to hear you enjoyed!! Adding a ton of cards/ more Upgrade for them is high on the To-Do (and lowkey the most fun thing to devlope)
Definitely Wishlisted this, it was enjoyable and I look forward to the full release :)
Only thing I noticed was the Extra Crit Factor and Extra Work Crit Chance both max out at 4\5 stars and 3\4 stars respectively (the pop-up window when in the Upgrade slot say 4\4 and 3\3 so maybe there's just an extra star that shouldn't be there)
Thanks for the wishlist, and glad you enjoyed the demo!
I keep thinking I finally found all the wrong card displays, but there are always some left - thanks for pointing that out :)
The Ui for this is absolutely fantastic
lovely to hear <3
