"Intersections" is the latest musical offering from acclaimed saxophonist Jeremy Brown, featuring an extraordinary collaboration with award-winning trombonist Audrey Ochoa, pianist Chris Andrew, bassist Kodi Hutchinson, and drummer Tyler Hornby. Jeremy Brown, known for his extensive and diverse musical background as a conductor, classical saxophonist, flautist, free improviser, and author of such books as ‘The Wind Band Music of Henry Cowell’ and the forthcoming ‘New Perspectives on Jazz Patronage’, has been a key figure in the jazz scene since his junior high days. He has graced stages as a soloist with prestigious ensembles like the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ottawa Symphony, and the Okanagan Symphony, and served as lead tenor with the Calgary Jazz Orchestra.

This album marks the fulfillment of Brown's long-standing dream to unite these exceptional musicians in a recording of original compositions. Made possible by generous grants from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the School of Creative and Performing Arts at the University of Calgary, "Intersections" is a testament to the rich tapestry of talent and creativity that Brown has nurtured throughout his illustrious career.
