You're the sole operator of an island-grid hydro station, and the whole town is counting on you. Start the turbines, synchronise them to the grid, and hold the frequency dead on 60 Hz — because generation has to match demand every second or the lights flicker.

It's a real control room, modelled on how these plants actually run: wicket gates and governors, synchroscopes and breakers, reservoir hydraulics, bearing temperatures, transformer loading, and protective relays that will trip you if you get sloppy. Calm and watchable at first — genuinely tense when the storm rolls in.

• 🚨 React to system frequency events when a neighbouring plant trips — arrest the dip and earn a response bonus
• 🔧 Handle equipment faults, stuck breakers and relay misoperations — dispatch repair crews before they cascade
• 🌑 Recover from a station blackout with a black-start diesel and a dead-bus close
• 💰 Play the market: spot price, water value, ancillary services — the reservoir is a battery, so arbitrage it
