This is probably the tenth generation of event betting sites I have witnessed. There are so many of them because they all make the same mistake: they allow all sorts of bets, and then eventually something horrific happens, it turns out someone made big money on it, and the whole thing is shut down.
One day, one of those sites will rise up and it won’t allow betting on human misery and destruction, and maybe it’ll stick around.
Is it really much different than the way things work? Like stocks… And politics.
No, it’s not… but that doesn’t mean you should docilely accept the corrupt, sociopathic status-quo; nor perpetuate it as an inevitability.
You don’t just have to bite the pillow and accept the rape. Get angry. Tell the cunt they’re a cunt. Tell everybody the cunt is a cunt. Treat the cunts the way they deserve to be treated.
Why people pretend that “moral assertion” somehow will cause such insider-trading to cease, … how can anybody be that retarded?
Either make the laws, & the enforcement, have actual “teeth”, XOR make it legal for everybody.
The insult of having it be “illegal” for the powerful, but ILLEGAL for everybody else is exactly the category of behavior which creates violent resistance.
( 2-facedness in policing, in financial-law, etc, are all examples of 2-facedness, and that’s the principle I’m claiming is the problem, not financial-vs-policing categories of corruption )
