+1 for Peter F. Hamilton. I love all his work (with only a couple of notable exceptons). Much of his storytelling spans several (page-turning, epic, and incredibly long) novels, so if you wanted to start with a standalone, my fav is Fallen Dragon.

I believe that is billionaire mogul and political influencer Peter Thiel, co-founder of Palantir. Pretty much evil personified.

4·2 months agoIf that party’s history has taught us anything, it’s PHON parliamentarians don’t stay in PHON for very long. Hansen must be a nightmare to work with, I’m sure it’s a lot of ‘my name’s on the party’ and ‘it’s my way or the highway’. Any seats she gains will move to the crossbench within months.

Apparently it takes context into account. A seemingly ‘positive’ phase like ‘proud zionist’ is allowed, but criticism in any shape is not. They’re always the victims, even when crushing starving Palestinians under bulldozer blades.
