One of my math professors sugggested adding a formal logic class to early childhood education.
Humans are collaborative. Collaboration includes violence. Hierarchies were created for allocating resources to rulers. Rulers restrict the capacity for violence of subjects reinforcing the hierarchy.
Anarchists don’t see the hierarchies as beneficial to humans. Preserving a world without rulers requires violence. Decentralize violence.

Anarchy is individual and collective. Individuals are free to associate. Collectives of individuals work together because “apes strong together”. Hierarchies are horizontal. Violence is decentralized.
3·21 天前I was a child on the internet. The first white supremicist I met outside of family was in an online game. They sounded like my parents and grandparents. I had a conversation with the white supremicist as a child. The conversation was about why their ideas were bad.
In the same online game, I was running around in spaces where IP sniffers and nukers were common. The community used hex editors to cheat. I became a technically compotent person because I was allowed online.
Children are not stupid. Voices from the left are muted across society. The left needs to get louder.

2·27 天前I wrestle. Wrestlers are wrestlers first. Weight class is more important for safety than gender.
Sports are more fun with similar skill levels for athletes. Separating sports on gender boundaries excludes skilled women from competition against equally skilled men.
I have grown up near and worked in orchards, potatoes, beef and dairy cows. Even with that experience, I do not tell experts how to do their work. Workers are better at managing resources than bosses who haven’t spent a day in the field.
Food is wasted due to being commercially unviable. There were potatoes that were too big left to rot in a field. The potatoes were bagged by the community separate from the commercial entity and handed out as gifts. I produce too much fruit to preserve and have to give it away. Gift economies predate capitalism.
I find the argument strange that under anarchy there would be no technology or infrastructure. The form may be different to decentralize power. Technology and infrastructure under capitalism is designed to benefit the capital class.
8·1 个月前I consider FOSS a step toward prefiguring an anarchy.
Current source control management systems however perpetuate heirarchies with roles such as maintainer and developer with different permissions. I like to keep the permissions similar for roles. I might take away foot guns like force push from developers.
Another problem limiting anarchy is consensus. Getting agreement from everyone effected is still not quite there in the merge request process.
Anarchy requires socialism. Monpolies empower hierarchies of violence to work against humanity. As the original post suggests, humans are unable to pursue passions and a wage to live.
Socialism is not when some state does stuff, but when humans collectively own the means of production. Humans fight fires. Humans build roads. Bosses take credit.
Privatizing housing is the system that created the problem. Under the current system, housing is a commodity that can be bought and sold. Like any commodity, cornering the market leads to monopoly by which the only supplier is a cartel of a few private entities. Cartel because they work together to fix prices to their benefit.

2·2 个月前Biden campaigned in 2020 on, “I am the forced left-wing candidate, but vote for me now and move me later”. The campaign worked the first time. Didn’t work the second time for some reason.

I’m probably not cultured enough. I have heard modern country that resembles pop music. Taylor Swift tried that new fangled rapping after all.
