Preach on!

Preach on!
That kind of describes Mississippi. They just sort of gave up.

I thought it was called kidnapping.
I don’t recall sock garters being a part of my wrestling kit. Times have changed.
Let people like or love you for who you are. A facade only lasts so long.

It’s just fun to say.

Thank you for teaching me something new every day. You are appreciated.

When I taught Civil War and Reconstruction just outside Atlanta I had no problem teaching it as accurately and truthfully as possible. My students understood the concept of slavery and how awful it is very well. Nobody censored me in any way. I had a blast teaching fourth and fifth grade social studies.

Playing Halo 2 with the wife. Cooking.
My wife and I agree.

I totally lucked out. I retired about two years before Covid hit. At my age and in that environment I would not have made it. Still dealing with the effects of having caught it all by myself. I just can’t afford to lose anymore IQ points. I’m struggling as it is.

Retired Elementary school teacher here. You are correct. After the first two years and horrible flu symptoms I was invulnerable for the next twenty. Also agree on preschool teachers being almost immortal.
Really brings the place together.

Wowzers When I taught I always thought my job was to advocate for my students. I understand this person is not an educator but they should still have the same goal I would hope.

To the trauma? Nope. I’m good. At least I’m finally able to work on it. The further away, the better it gets.

Playing Wytchwood. I’m just enjoying the pace and the comedy. Cult of the Lamb was fun to play. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the update.
For something or things.
It was in high school actually. I’m soooooo old
