4·5 days agoFinally home. Office day + event after work. And then to top it all off, they shut the metro tunnel for night works so extra long journey home 😴
Ain’t no better feeling than getting into comfy home clothes after a long day.
This just looks like any other new build in a upper-class area, extremely boring. And I’m guessing some heritage home was knocked down so we could have this beauty? Money doesn’t buy taste.
Having lined parking spaces in your own garage, what a luxury
There’s a guy I see here and there at the gym, he has an intellectual disability and a support worker who helps him load machines etc. He’s spoken to me a few times.
This group of teenage boys were staring at him working out on a machine (the form isn’t great but at least he’s doing something while they just laugh at him and sit around on their phones barely doing any working out). And then they mocked the way he walked and all laughing at that. Disgusting behaviour to witness.
Heater is on
Happy birthday!!
Holy crap just had a loud BANG out of nowhere after it had been raining and storming in the distance for 30 mins, flash warning only seconds before, my entire house vibrated. I jumped like I was watching a horror movie.
Skies darkening rapidly where I am
Got a big viet coffee with my banh mi to power my afternoon after a shit sleep last night. Got a few work tasks I want to knock out today. Let’s do this.
That site is dangerous, I’ve learned to limit how often I visit there. I could go a scotch deal though.
Movies I watched this weekend
Wuthering Heights 2/5
God this movie dragged. The last 30 or so minutes were good but it didn’t make up for the snoozefest middle. Style over substance.
Project Hail Mary 4.5/5
Went into this blind knowing nothing about the story. Not sure I would have watched if not for the DT praise but so glad I did. Absolutely loved it. I laughed, I shed a tear, I was on the edge of my seat, it had it all.
I saw this recipe on Insta for baking hot cross buns in something like a custard sauce, with milk / cream / butter / sugar / eggs and a few other things. I’m not sure if this is some Easter tradition I missed out on growing up but knew I had to make it. This is now my lunch.
baked hot cross buns

sky pretty, these autumn sunsets been hitting lately
Another IT problem solved after much stress and swearing under my breath. This time the website enquiry form wasn’t working. The form submits on the website but wouldn’t send an email to me with the details. A possible new client called me asking if I had received their website enquiry… sent through last week! Another problem caused by switching email providers. Who knows if I missed any other enquiry forms in the time it wasn’t working, great.
Has anyone had a “canker sore” on their tongue before? I just woke up with this sore yesterday. Eating has now become a painful experience. Food has to be in liquid form to go down and even then it still hurts. Booked in with the doc for later today.
Dinner will need to be some kind of soup.
Stress caused apparently, it’s amazing how much stress messes up our physical health too.

11·25 days agoBeing an adult means being able to have breakfast for dinner. Bacon, scrambled eggs, halloumi and toast hit the spot.
Had an lovely afternoon at the beach, soaking up the last of the warm weather.
Why they drive so slow? It can be very frustrating going anywhere in our hood to run errands during business hours.
It’s fresh outside. 2 degrees tonight 🥶
