Best we could do is Pope Francis

I would love it if the sane world would just boycott this world cup entirely.
But the cynic in me assumes that the rest of the world cares more about their uninterrupted entertainment than they do about genocide and war crimes.
“No no, you see, we gave them plans but with all of the critical pieces redacted. That means we ‘honored’ the agreement but didn’t actually have to give them anything important.”
Meanwhile, Iran highlights the “redacted” text and just pastes it into a text file
I used to pay less than the single plan for a family plan, split between 5 people. Back when ad-free YouTube was an afterthought and my primary reason for using it was Google Play Music’s unlimited music storage and streaming.
The amount they just increased the cost of YouTube is about how much I’d be willing to pay total for no ads. Until then, they’re competing against zero ads (but no casting) for free.
Got it, so one may only discuss serious topics man(kind) to man(kind).
It still makes perfect sense, imo. I wouldn’t even call it incorrect on a technical level. The contrast between “man” as singular and “mankind” as collective should provide all of the context needed.
If I describe a scene of a story as “man goes to work,” no one assumes I’m talking about the collective of humanity.
Let me see if I can count them:
French Toast
English French Toast
Japanese text
“American”
German-style
Spanish flag
Russian flag
Made in China
Pizza
Now Ricky wasn’t the only shit-head at that table
That might be putting it mildly
books cannot contain unskippable ads
Ready Player One might disagree
Yeah I haven’t been happy since the 90’s either.

Right, but we look at examples like Chromium and we can see where there is still so much potential for things to go sideways. GabeN and his yacht could sink to the bottom of the sea and his estate sells control of Valve to someone less benevolent.
A commercial entity that has enough control over a project pushes the direction of that project in their favor. And sure you can fork a FOSS project at any time, but once the commercialized version has enough saturation, user inertia and lack of experienced developers to take that initiative often prevents alternatives from achieving success.

Just wish it was coming from a non-commercial entity. Puts a sour note on the status of Linux gaming that a for-profit entity is the only one out there making meaningful progress.

Definitely some people getting rich(er) out there on the market whiplash, though. There’s gotta be an entire room of people at the White House rushing to get their trades in before Trump takes the mic.
The voters ultimately caused this current situation, so I absolutely blame them. We are seeing the result of the uncontested will of the American people.
It’ll dry out the beef something bad, though.

We talking in terms of percentage used or number of varieties?
Pastafarianism probably has the highest ratio of silly hat wearers per adherent, but only a few varieties to my knowledge (colanders and pirate hats/bandanas).
I’m unfamiliar with that subreddit and it appears that it no longer exists. What’s the story?

And growing…
shudder
Still conservative, but EU-favorable instead of deliberately obstructionist. It’s definitely a heavy blow to Putin, because this might pave the way for meaningful long-term support (or goodness, perhaps even future EU membership) to reach Ukraine.
Edit: Tangential, but this election has me wondering why I haven’t seen much online discourse trying to shame voters for supporting Tisza when they could have voted for the Workers’ Party, DK, or the Greens.
