Great demo level, I really enjoyed this.

I love the aesthetic, you are a faceless acolyte amongst the other faceless acolytes.

I'll watch out for more content.

In terms of feedback the handling of the elevator blocks is choppy (I think I read that other games actually keep the character and block still and raise or lower the whole game world to avoid that kind of thing)

you could differentiate the player acolyte from the others over time, maybe showing damage from the ichor burning the bottom of the robe, or marking the higher rank because of the enhanced drop mechanic? Similarly the other acolytes could have subtle rank indicators, especially as you ascend the tower

Finally a little visual story telling at the beginning and the end could enhance the experience (E.g. swoop in on the tower and have a wink of purple light from the top indicate the start of the ichor, and show the tower collapse and the ichor drying up at the end.  The words end up being a little dry

Great stuff :) Thanks John

Cool game!

Really cool! I do find it kind of weird that the game teaches you how to jump but not how to descend, had to look in the description to figure that out

Also angled areas in the tower's didnt look like i could step on them, took me a while to figure out how to reach the first plataform

This was fun!! The visuals are pretty nifty, and I like all the dialogue :)

I do however have a few notes!!

1. The ending gives off the impression that there's more to do, like more levels, which left me disappointed when there weren't

2. I have no idea what to do about the bug-things at the top of the tower. Do I beat them up? Are they supposed to drop something?? Are they supposed to just sit there and look pretty without attacking me???

3. While the coins are cool to have, it feels a bit lackluster when there's nothing to *do* with them. It would be neat if they at the very least added some sort of change of theme once collecting a certain amount

That being said, this was otherwise still a really fun game!! (You obviously don't have to do anything with my suggestion if you don't want to lmao)
