1.
Dove 04:05
A dove dressed in rain, heavy on the beak, seeking a way, a way to your hands, to help you confess They’re all here, around you, to forgive you Snow hitting stone Ruins coloured white A legend, engraved, buried and lost The sound of the leaves, flickering in your chest The million deer released when you say the words
2.
Eyes, seeing eyes, seeing eyes, forming worlds And skin, feeling skin, hearing scars, speaking words, my words Hands, seeking hands, breaking free to learn to land alone a thousandth time Hearing you listening, once again, in constant flow
3.
Sun, astray 05:19
Worn out past, stay lost Second hand light Reflections off of red leaves Passed down alps leading the sun astray A sleeping spark explodes And reminds me of everything, of days seen, of pain had, in constant flow Rearranging lights guiding Glass colonnade, next to eternal Why not break to contemplate the ruins? A newfound arch takes form And reminds me of everything, of days seen, of pain had, in constant flow A birch, right by the grave, growing See through its eyes the far and the near Speak through its mind the sound of hope In emptiness, roaring, you will discern the new moon hiding
4.
Moon, astray 03:41
In your own waters in your zone, stopping not for nobody smoke coming out the holes marking out the long walkway Your soul’s calling for the slow calmness gotta go all in You both are in what the poet thought was the prologue but you’re the sole author of your own novel You ’re in a rose garden by a road block with the polar opposite of no options No longer in a coma No toxin makes you sober Hold off on getting older Focus all of it on motion Go off is what they told you, exploding spark, making no harm Don’t stop at the road crossing, just go farther than your soles can It’s a gold market, not a low cost ghost mall It’s a role model, not a cold hearted oligarch It’s a slow waltz, not a robotic lonely march It’s an open park, not code-locked holy law Go, wander off, don’t call it off, don’t stop it.
5.
I arrive to the coastline I’ve walked backwards through photos The old behold the multiplying ocean It grows away The boats, in motion from the breathing of the passing A bridge dissolving by the end See, far off, far beyond the sky’s horizon, I’ll walk, I’ll pass and never come back A thousand horns, sounding for me, or taking from me Here, now Stay loud Black sun coming, my voice, falling Tears run lifelessly My wings, shaking Giant waves, sky high, close the path behind, embrace me They hold me They take me
6.
Sapphire 01:48
7.
Ruby 01:33
8.
Chasing embers in the haze Way too blind to see the stars How hard can it be to give? To give in to what’s to come? Give in to time Crashing straight into the wave We don’t know if we are warm Are we ready to give up? Give up everything for you? And now, the time to know has run out The fears we have within, a world without the one you know you’ll love There’s one thing I know for sure If you do descend, I’ll know, that I’ll give you all I have, that I will be one with you and follow time
9.
Diamond art 01:21
A world trying to grow diamonds, no one’s coal mining I’ll take a nosedive no co-pilot, no guide. This whole time I’ve been close minded, no ties, no rope to throw over to the Holy Ghost side I don’t know why, if only I could open those blind folded comatose eyes blown to life by a golden rose growing high As if you’re newborn, seeing the world moving forth, behind a thin cloth, knowing you could do more, feeling ripped off, peeling your skin off, revealing your wings, start healing your big scars, seeing who’s in charge Be helium, lift off, greet Helios, get lost, delirium, Greek gods, a million deep thoughts all at once Water guns against the falling sun leaving it all undone I come down as an artisan wondering where all the art is from
10.
The blinders are down, your room fills up The sudden halt reminds you This diamond train is still carrying you forward, the rails, still guiding it, and neither do those who you meet here know when to alight To the timeless outside Seen and feared and coveted Come down, hear them breezing, soothing Tower, harden, erode, spread out Look out, see them living, caring, Boundless calmness, brimming vapor, orange tundra, waving serenely It’s all there outside, inside, passing by It’s passing by You found in their night sky your same world
