This is an update on my european setup since my last post. Yeah, I know WhatsApp belongs to Meta and is handing over all my data to the US, Israel, Iran, China, the Vatican, and Mars, but for personal reasons, I can’t ditch it right now. How can I improve my setup?

Her name is Eel and I think she was either the runt of the litter or she was malnourished when she was a kitten, because she’s fully grown and only 8 pounds. A friend of a friend heard meowing on the 4th of July and found her underneath a parked car. The vet guessed her age at 6 months. She’s 4 now and very sweet.

Despite it being a stronger currency, is it exchangeable in the United States for dollars? Would that mean I’ll be getting more in dollars due to that having high value? Also, why is the Swiss Franc more colorful in its appearance while US Dollars look rather bland in comparison? To break down each denomination’s value:

The washing machine panel thing in my apartment has these metal buttons that are perhaps the most satisfying metal buttons I’ve ever pressed in my life. If my neurospicy brain had a swimming pool of these things I would die happily of starvation while flopping around pressing as many as I could. How in the world do I track down a featureless metal button and know I’m getting the right thing without being able to press them before buying? Are there like names for different types of buttons? What kind of rabbit hole am I looking at here? I want to refit my computer to have one of these things as my power button

They’re a small automaton inventor that has a construct, Gonk, shaped like a pair of legs. I normally have a move speed of 25 but while riding Gonk we haul at 40. Gonna have fun with this one :3

Hey guys! Like many of you here, I’m fed up with further encroaching enshittification and I’m tired of paying for subscriptions, so I decided to turn a 10-year old laptop I got for university into a home server. I’ve been tinkering with it for around a week now and I’ve spent many evenings and hours on figuring stuff out, but I’m at a point where I’m mostly set up and content with what I have. I thought I’d write down some of my experiences :)

Hi I hope this is okay to post here I’m just really looking for reassurance. Photo is my baby Wirt. Last night we noticed our 1 1/2 year old black cat wasn’t able to pee after being in the litter box for 10 mins back to back. We took him straight to the emergency vet and has Flutd and Struvite crystals. The vet said we got in just in time and felt okay to send him home since he wasn’t blocking, we got bunch of medicine and a new strict diet plan. So far he went to the litter box twice, first time it took 3 mins and he was able to pee a little bit and the 2nd time it took a min and produced a little more pee. He’s also acting like his old self again, being very sweet and playful. The thing is that I’m trying to keep my expectations in check as what I read online he can still block. If that happens we will have to make the decision to put him to sleep since we cannot afford a 7k hospital visit. But we’re also feeling optimistic because he’s peeing and being his old self. If anyone has experience with this, is this a good sign that he will be able to recover or should I still keep my expectations in check? Much appreciated thank you

I was watching some random YouTube video that was listing arcade games for some reason (I honestly don’t even remember what the video was) and they mentioned a game called Cyber-Lip. I’d never heard of it before but it looked cyberpunk to me so I had to dig deeper. Apparently it’s a Neo-Geo arcade game made by SNK in 1990. It’s basically a mix between Contra and Metal Slug, except Metal Slug came out in 1996 (also made by SNK). So I guess this game must’ve been SNK trying out the Metal Slug formula.

Nachdem wir zwei Tage lange die ganze Zeit random Ausfälle hatten ohne zu Wissen, was genau das Problem sein könnte, kamen heute zwei Techniker, die sich das angeschaut haben. Problem war wohl, dass die Leitung, die für unsere Wohnung gesteckt war, überlastet oder schlecht isoliert oder sonst was war. Andere Leitung wurde eingesteckt am Netzkasten die Straße runter sowie im Telefonkasten im Haus und boom.
