I also think the first time NASA put a man on the moon was an achievement, and there were scientific discoveries because of it too.
Bit very obviously doing the same again, can never have the same impact. The money used on this moon trip could have had way bigger scientific impact. This moon trip is a PR stunt, and very little more than that.

We got the VW ID.4 a CUV which means it’s built like a real car, not some pickup truck construction that avoids regulation, that American SUV’s often are.
The CUV is an amazing drive with perfect handling, an SUV is not.

Even (former) US allies can see where the tide is moving, and it’s clearly away from USA, and towards China.
The Iran war already accelerated that process when USA attacked Iran for no reason, and it was accelerated even more within a few days when it became clear that USA was losing. Now it turns out that it only takes a week or two for USA to exhaust their arsenal of power, and the respect for the US military might is at an all time low.
- USA military might is no longer respected nearly as much as it used to.
- US political power is diminished by USA alienating allies and even threatening invasion of an allied country!
- US economic power is declining because of Trump policies.
- The war with Iran will probably bring an end to the petro dollar.
- The combination of declining economy and the end of the petro dollar will accelerate the decline of the USD as a global reserve currency. Which will lead to further decline in the US economy.
- The above points will all decrease the soft power USA has enjoyed, from a combination of military power, economy and allies.
Hopefully the free world will gather around EU instead, and EU and China will work within international law, and establish relations that will create progress on both sides, while USA becomes a lot like what UK is today, after also being a global empire.
Putin is finished, he is a walking dead together with the Russian Empire he wanted to create.
But we need to support Ukraine more, so this stupid war isn’t prolonged more than necessary. When the war is over both Ukraine and EU will prosper.
That’s the consequence of Brexit, I wonder why it took so long?
UK is no longer part of EU, so EU citizenship doesn’t work in UK, Just like a UK citizenship no longer works in EU.

My guess is Orban was corrupt from the beginning, but he was hiding it, because that’s what you do.
Of course Hungarians need to be vigilant and take note if Péter is just a repeat, but my guess is that he will quickly normalize relations with EU, and to do that he needs to reestablish democratic values.
I guess we at least agree that Orban is bad both for Hungary and Europe, and hopefully Péter will be a lot better for Hungary first, and for that good relations with EU are important too.
EU is all about mutual benefits, if Hungary think it’s better to stand with Russia,they are actually free to do that, but then they should not be member of EU.
