Any idea how proton handles this for windows only games running on linux? Where is My Documents mapped to?

The true cost of the game is much higher though.

I hate the environment, that’s why I use vscode. After a long day outside, rolling coal on my 6x6 and littering out in nature, I come home and relax by turning on vscode and let it idle as I throw old tires in the fireplace. If you hate the environment like I do, use vscode.

Here’s the thing, sidewalks have a speed limit to ensure the safety of everyone on them. Scooters or bikes can go faster, yet get to share that space. Me being mad at these things on sidewalks is me being mad at the city planers not giving them their own lane. Take it from the cars, give them a portal and make it in another dimension, idgaf, get them to a safe speed or away from people walking at 5kmh.

My unpopular opinion: free ram is useless ram. Go on, OS. Put evertyhing into ram. I have 64GB of it. Fill it the fuck up. I want to be able to open things blazingly fast, that’s why its there. The trick is leaving enough so new things can fit without waiting for cleanup. And windows isn’t bad at scaling its usage. Afaik, wIndows installation on 8GB will use less than the same installation when 16GB is available.

If you had unlimited ram, you’d be mad the OS was wasting time cleaning up behind itself.

The problem: Twitter is being centrally controlled, by one large corporation which can be corrupted.
The solution: A new “company” with a “trusted board” instead of investors!
Bsky is slowly becoming twitter because someone who thinks like businessman can’t comprehend running a project without a company and a “trusted board” behind it, with capital from elsewhere fueling the whole thing. Jack Dorsey probably had good intentions, but he’s just too near sighted (or not the right person) to create a viable alternative disconnected from the business minded framework a true open decentralized twitter replacement needed.
