This settles it for me. Democracy can never work when people as dumb as this can vote. And there are this many of them as it seems. I just can’t phantom how you can not have seen through his blatantly obvious lies. Especially in her case.
I’ve been very disillusioned for sure. I think the pointed term is that it depends on a “well-informed electorate”. Except, what if the electorate is willfully ignorant, lazy, resentful, and hateful? This isn’t being taken advantage of in only the US either. It’s a fundamental flaw.
