Reusable products have been a game changer for me. They definitely need to become more mainstream. On my heavy days at work, I still need to double up with a disposable (lidl does big heavy flow packs for under a quid), but overall I’ve saved a lot of money. Reusables really need to become more mainstream.

Given that the overall poverty rate is 21%, depressingly this is better than I would have expected.

One irk i have with this is how in germany the solution to this is donating single use products for people with periods in need. we have to make sure that every person has a place where they can bleed in sanitary conditions! Hygiene provided (safe and barrier free access to bath and washing mashine) the monthly costs of having a period can be neglegible!
