Over time little by little we could of had a viable party. We could of taken over whole states. By first running for city council, and mayors. Then state positions in Congress. Hell even Governors. It could of been done. Look at Sanders 40 years as a independent.

For fuck sakes we could of had a progressive candidate for president. If we follow Bernie true plan we would already had the majority in Congress and Trump would be in prison.
