It means something to the effect of “I’ve been caught in a lie and can’t keep up the act anymore”

Correct. Supersonic is a 55% accurate move that will confuse the target if it hits.

162·29 days agoIn case this is something of a deal breaker for someone, please try setting up a VM and playing around with Linux. You don’t need to install it on your main system, or try dual booting it, but load up a VM and give it a shot. You don’t have to stick with it and if you don’t like it or it doesn’t work for you or it’s too confusing or whatever, that’s fine. At least you can say that you gave it a shot.

2·29 days agoI literally have the same plan if I ever need to.
I have had terrible luck with cleaning my buds in recent years. My first set of Bluetooth buds had a mesh grate and no rubber bit (don’t know what to call that bit that holds it in your ear) meaning that I could kinda clean it with a cotton swab but it would miss a lot because it was effectively trapped behind the metal. The other two have had a sort of cotton stuffing in the audio channel that I have to be super careful to not pull out while I clean it.

I play too much Skyrim (between the various copies I’ve owned, I have ~3.5k hours) and one of the ways I keep it repayable is by using the Enaisiaion overhauls that another commenter mentioned.
They’re made to be largely “vanilla+” type mods, but they overhaul nearly everything. Races, perks, standing stones, the magic system, werewolves & vampires, and enchantments. He also has one that adds a faith system where you can worship the various deities of Tamriel and I think that one is a must have at this point.

No worries there! And it is quite nice, I must say.
I walk to the store, I check what’s there, I ask an employee for help, then make my own decision. If it’s shit, I don’t get it again and tell who I know to avoid it. I don’t get products that people I trust have had bas experiences with.
Advertisements are lying. Every dollar spent on marketing is a dollar that could have been spent either improving your product or paying your staff. If you advertise to me, I will actively avoid your product.
I also said walk through. Doesn’t matter where you are, walking or driving, you will not see ads for things unless you are actively looking at a business advertising itself.
Fun fact: not where I live. Billboards are not allowed within 18 metres of a road, and any business signage has to be both on the property of the business and at least 4 metres away from the road. You can easily walk around down town and see exactly 0 ads and it is bliss.
Advertising unethical
I was about to comment the same. Maybe the reason the kid grows up with issues is that their food kept getting stolen

6·2 months agoNo it’s not true, though it is a close approximation. Another has the actual formula, but the proof that it’s incorrect is that 32°F = 0°C, while (32-30)/2 = 1.

I was using tumbleweed last fall and there was an update that prevented my desktop from remembering where to put my icons for ~6 weeks. Not a huge issue, but interesting that you had none.
