True! The main thing is that surprises are only fun if they don’t screw you over too bad. But once you’re warned? Then you can play hardball 😈
Please feel free to shoot me a message on Matrix. I’m lonely so I will probably respond to anyone lol

I kinda wish it hadn’t changed, tbh, since transsexual is how I think about myself.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with my gender. I can be androgynous in any body. What I need medically changed is my sex.
All sorts! What system and setting are you running?
Yep! Also, if you aren’t familiar with the way words are either stressed or elided in spoken english, you’re probably so confused when you hear native speakers talk 😅
We literally don’t pronounce most of the sounds in most of the words we say. If you go around pronouncing every syllable of every word you’ll sound insane
We often like things that hurt us 😭
Now i’m curious, which characters?

This is why I don’t throw mimics at my players.
I do homebrew stuff, so all the surprise-bad-time monsters are surprises for everyone

4·2 days agoLLMs? I don’t want that in my games, thanks.
But if we do that, we’ll need a new alphabet song!
(also, since letters [sorta] contain their respective sounds, I suggest “wub”)
We should put the ‘life size’ replica of Lyndon B Johnson’s balls here
Eh everyone says “dubya” anyways
This right here!
If you’re going to use a dating app (You shouldn’t they’re awful but yk) then your ideal first message does a good job of engaging the sort of people who will enjoy your personality while filtering out those who won’t like you.

5·6 days agoI understand some dlc, but I think this really stretches the definition of “giveaways of full video games.”
It functions a lot like a deckbuilder. There are a few symbol combos that are pretty easy to win with, if you pick up ores/geologist or fruits/ms fruit you’ll do ok.
The biggest thing is that you should keep your deck really small. Ideally around 20 symbols so you get all of them each spin. Definitely use your rerolls, use your removes, and (after the early game) skip anything that isn’t a great fit for your build.
Yes, “do these symbols end up adjacent” can be pretty random, but that’s why you surround a few high value symbols (like ms fruit) with an ocean of things they want to be next to (fruit)

What i’m learning is that I consistently perceive these colors as brighter than they are, probably due to the amount of space they take up on the screen

Well in the session i’m prepping this week, there’s a giant carnivorous bramble plant that’s pretty hard to spot until you’re already knee-deep in it. It’s completely inert until you scratch yourself on its thorns. Once it’s tasted your blood, though, it will grab you and drag you off to its heart, where it slowly drains you dry.
It makes traveling though the forest a very deadly proposition for anyone who doesn’t know how to spot them.
