That is everyone, no one wants this…
Not 100% on topic, but as a preventative method, I use an email forwarding service (like SimpleLogin, Anonaddy, etc), because you can just delete an alias if it starts spamming.
Might be too late for that now though, I’m guessing once your email gets out there, it’s gonna be rough going for a long while until they stop spamming, if they ever do.
Fair enough if it’s broken.
Personally, I’d live with the (small) hassle of having the screen attached (in general), because being able to use it still could be a life saver one day (and in such cases, having to reattach a screen or plug into another external one if possible would be way more annoying).
On one hand I agree, but on the other, if you use 01-01-1970 everywhere, you’d be that one guy (with the IIIII plate), because as I still believe, the amount of people using that date everywhere would never be big enough to void the fields value to the ad networks.
Which is why I think using a random one is best, it at the very least changes my data for each account I own.
But in a purely theoretical way, I do agree. Practically however, I don’t think it will work, since not enough people will do it.
Does that apply to date fields? Most have dropdown menus where you can just do a big scroll and click wherever it lands. Maybe if you had to type one out, but both methods mixed together makes it harder to predict your “pattern” (i would guess).
I’m not fully convinced a unique pattern would emerge in this scenario, but maybe i’m wrong.

Pretty sure they are scientists. It’s a broad term as far as I know, and anyways these are (probably) smart people (judging by their titles/jobs) and what they are saying or concluding from data is just common sense: heavier car = more wear and tear on road surfaces.
Anyways: Are you saying it could be EVs too? That’s probably likely to be causing some of this too, I think they are generally 500kg heavier than gas cars.
Another reason to add to the “EVS ARENT THE SOLUTION” pile?

A stain on the monty python reputation, no doubt
Incase it is running teamspeak server, you can fix that bug by setting up a mumble server instead.
Why would u do that other than maybe saving space? Leaving it open would have been easier and the same thing.

At the time it were built, supply chain attack was not invented yet.
I don’t have evidence, but I’m still gonna press X to doubt this claim.
I’ve solved the email part of this equation by using an email forwarding service (eg SimpleLogin, AnonAddy, etc).
Phone numbers are a harder problem, I usually end up using one number for everything that truly requires it (sadly), but then have another for personal stuff.
Realistically it won’t be that many people in their networks of data that use the same date, 01-01-1970 in this case, and they might even use that trend of date when possible to infer that you like technology or are in certain circles.
Random dates sound safer to me. I don’t see how using random ones could end up in some unique-to-you pattern.

I’m just happy NASA is finally doing some exciting stuff
I just create a README.md file wherever I setup services with docker compose which keeps top level docs so I know how and why certain things work.
Other than that, if comments are supported inside configuration files, also document stuff in there too.
That’s been good enough for me.

You can skip feeling bad if the person deserves it.
Most people working as police, probably every fire fighter, nurse or doctor don’t deserve to die, so while you don’t have to go out of your way to attend their funeral or anything; the normal reaction is feeling bad for them.
I understand cops have a lot of bad PR right now (mostly in america), but It still kinda sucks they are all getting blanketed in the “deserved it” category (in this thread), because most of them truly are putting up their life to protect yours, so they deserve some gratitude.
Also I always think about that fun fact where “police police police” (etc) is valid english.
Anyways, yes, I feel bad when someone dies protecting us, even if they did “sign up for it.” I don’t think they should be discounted.
Maybe i dont wanna share mt reasons ;((((

I agree on Cyberpunk, though I still played like 20hrs.
I finished a mission and just realised I couldn’t be bothered driving to the next one and blah blah blah and just closed the game for the final time right then.
First time I’ve been playing a game and that had happened.
I guess the game might still be worth it’s sale price at 50% off if you can get 20 hours out of it, but it’s still disappointing in my eyes that It wasn’t able to keep me engaged.
As an animal myself, I’d like to object.
You made me look at steamcharts and I can’t believe they are fumbling this so hard. They just immediately lost most players (on Steam at least).
After all of that “player feedback” for what seemed like years lol.
Not like I’m a player anyways because I refuse to accept their anti-cheat terms (Secure boot, etc).
