  • Consider supermassive black holes. They are the largest entities in the universe and they exist in nearly every galaxy. They aren’t going to get appreciably bigger, if they aren’t big enough to bang, what is?

    Funnily enough loads of places had plans to get off fossil fuels a couple of decades ago, but those were squashed by conservative politics because they were seen as “green”

    I wonder whether they would have been more successful had they been done for energy security instead

    It’s a shame that they last so much better than internal combustion cars, if more people replaced them every two years like they do for ICE vehicles there would be many more on the second hand market

    As it is now second hand EVs are barely cheaper than new
