Now that he’s shown the game to everyone it’s probably time to replace this mfker with someone representing Europe’s interest. An EU defence alliance might also be a good idea.

I’m pretty sure Scam Altman tried this line some time ago for one of his supposed models.

Working hard to accelerate this crossover point, I see.

Agreed, and we should start by installing cams among the Epstein class. What better place to start than Ursula’s bedroom?
To be clear, there’s a difference in terminology of profit in economic context vs colloquial. When they say profit / non-profit, non-profit doesn’t mean that people don’t make money for their work. Rather it refers to what’s done with the extra money made above the costs of the firm, after it’s paid its employees and officers. Is it given to the firm’s shareholders, is it reinvested into the firm, are prices reduced to have less excess the next quarter, etc.
Proton AG is owned by the Proton Foundation which is a non-profit.

This bud is going to get a visit from the MIC.

You can’t magic wand the need for hard resources away to satisfy a moral position. You have to satisfy the material resources shift first. Now that US-Israel cut 20% of the world oil supply, the material problem has become that much more severe. I think we’ll even see more calls for normalization of relations with Russia.

What’s he gonna do abt it?

I for one am happy to hear a comrade’s perspective because those tend to be grounded in material reality.

Supposedly. Says 148 in About.

all you have to do is click on Settings > AI Controls. You’ll then see a very bold and prominent option called ‘Block AI Enhancements.’
I don’t see it on mobile though.

The HC530s drives I bought in Nov are 40% more expensive now. My local computer store used to sell 16TB Barracudas for CAD $250 last year. They’re $400 now and only available in-store.

During a visit by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Berlin last year, Merz praised labor market deregulation in Athens that allowed a six-day workweek. He said Germans who consider a 40-hour week unreasonable should “take a look at Greece,” adding that Germany could learn from the country in this area. He acknowledged, however, that German labor productivity remains much higher.
Same shit different day, so here’s what I said the last time this brainrot hit the news:
Someone does not understand what productivity means and how it’s meaningfully improved.
If you (you being the proverbial CDU brain here) need people to marginally increase their working hours, in order to achieve higher economic output, you’re in deep trouble. The increased output is also marginal and a one time boost. If you want meaningfully higher economic output, with sustained growth, you have to use machines and automation to achieve more with the same work hours. In other words you gotta do productive capital investment. Unfortunately conservative brains can only think of the cheapest solution (for businesses) first, at the expense of workers quality and quantity of life.

No politic here!

🫨 Something must have shifted for the worse if the US admin is taking a step back.

Yeah, I don’t understand why they spent such effort to reply to the toaster. This was more shocking to me than the toaster’s behaviour.

I guess there’s something for everyone! :D

Can’t vaccinate my ZFS pool against it…
Probably important for people who want to get some of the benefits of AI without paying the heavier costs. This reminds me of how I used Wolfram Alpha understand solving integrals in multivariate calculus. I paid for subscription that allowed viewing the steps it made to reach a solution. That helped me understand how the different strategies get applied in integration.
