If you want to send files between just your own devices KDE Connect is great and can do many other things too. If you are on Gnome there is a gnome extension for better integration (gsconnect I think?)

Even without capitalism I prefer having been able to read the existing books without an ending over not being able to read any of them. I can get some enjoyment from the journey even without a destination

No. The Rust code in the kernel is GPLv2 just like the rest of the kernel. The licence of the compiler has nothing to do with that, that’s nonsense Rust haters make up.
You can argue against independent projects like the Rust coreutils not using a copyleft license, but that has nothing to do with Rust or the kernel. There are independent C projects without non-copyleft licenses too.
“USB4” (not USB 4.0) released in 2019 and “USB4 Version 2.0” (not USB 4.1) released in 2022.
You need a million over the course a year to bring it to the EU Parliament. They did 1.1 million in four months, which I think is the fastest of any EU Citizens Initiative so far.
More would be nice of course.
