Let’s do that. The annex thing.
There is a positive correlation between how often I post and how poorly my life is going.

Sometimes I post here by accident.

Let’s do that. The annex thing.
If you see this comment, it could be interesting to get an idea of how many people:
a) Thought OP posted this in like a “Look at how dumb this is” way, or,
b) Thought OP agreed with the idea presented in the image.
I think this might have to do with communication climates (I am so far from an expert in anything) and how a climate of disagreement with peers and prevalent media can affect how a message is received. In other words, if surrounded by stupid people with stupid ideas it’s easy to assume the next stupid idea has come from a stupid person.
Let’s play Pick the Cognitive Biases. Not just in the picture, but in the comments and the reasons people downvoted this.
My favorite part:
Some culture-bound syndromes appear with similar features in several cultures, but with locally specific traits, such as penis panics.

The title seems like clickbait. Her actual statement seems in favor of what sports leagues were already doing.

This is a weird headline. Like eating out is a normal thing to do, we see it come up on the calendar and are just like “Nah, let’s skip paying more for food today.”

What a surprise the individual rights advocates only want to protect their rights.
I hope this woman wakes up with a dick.
It’s the longest version of the longest joke I could find.

Hey fair enough. It’s hard to tell if someone’s misreading or lacks nuance. Glad to hear we’re on the same-ish page.
I’m rooting for “disenfranchised guy who was sick of everything,” because nothing will piss off both parties more than someone they can’t fit in a box.

You say “likely” a lot for someone arguing against me for not holding a hard opinion.
I’ve probably read more on this than you have, and posted what I felt about the available evidence, item by item, in another comment Here.

I never said they fabricated messages. Just that if they’re real, I don’t totally believe the guy’s a Groyper because of them.

Oh, I agree. I’m not sold on them even existing, either. But I’m debating available reported evidence.
My new personal, not totally serious, conspiracy theory is: They are real, Tyler is an edgy memelord with no affiliation, and someone at one of these organizations shoehorned the Groyper connection because they own Groyper Coin.
Is it plausible? Maybe. But we’re in a platos’ cave of media lies just trying to figure out what the shapes mean.

Do you know the website or the name of it? I tried to find it online or archived and can’t.
Because that would put this whole thing to rest if we had screenshots of a groyper website with those specific bullet messages. If it exists I’m surprised the news isn’t all over it.
Editing because I found this: https://www.groyperarmy.com/
It just leads to a shitcoin that was launched a few months ago.

The lack of evidence is not evidence.
The family’s beliefs don’t indicate what he believed, either.
I really need a link or something that proves these are Groyper memes, published more than a week ago, because I’m not going to believe they are until I find that information.
He could be ultra right wing, I’m not saying he isn’t. I’m saying the evidence is bad.

It means the messages aren’t specific to any one movement. It seems like wasted effort if they were going to slot him in to any category, since they’re open to interpretation as either ultra right wing memes or antifacist memelord quotes. Depending on the news source, they are being interpreted differently.
Or, maybe “they” made it intentionally occlusive to avoid a civil war. Because let’s face it, the right were calling for a violence before the casings even came out. Hell, they were calling for violence before the shooting, too.

Take solace in the fact that they’re on a flood plane and will return to the sea when climate change ramps up.

Every time I wonder how Doug Ford is still in power, I remember it’s Ontario.
But still, that last provincial election was blatantly corrupt. It was in the middle of winter, right after mailing checks to everyone, after an intense media spin about how “tough” he was on Trump (before immediately backing down.)
Unemployment is up. Healthcare is down. Forest fires were ridiculous and he implemented policies for special economic zones that will make them worse. Tax money is being used to fight for the destruction of bike lanes everyone wants. How the hell is his approval rating going up.

The amount of corporate bios I’ve read that talk about wives, husbands and family is astounding.
But I’m not totally sure what this is. It looks like someone joining the community to work for free? I might be wrong. If that’s the case they should be allowed to write whatever the hell they want as long as it’s not hurtful.
And super weird they’d take out “queer” but leave the furry thing. Not that there’s anything wrong with either.

I love your stick :)
They’re physickers not languagers.
